Friday, July 8, 2016 @ 9:14 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The unemployment rate in Prince George last month was 7.7%  up slightly from the 7.4% recorded in June of last year.

Provincially, the rate  was sitting a  5.9%  just  slightly higher than the 5.8% recorded in  June of last year.

Nationally, the rate  last month was  6.8%

Falling population . Schools being closed for lack of families . Flat housing prices . Rising unemployment . Hard to put a positive spin on any of that . How’s that declassifying of the AR-15 going in Ottawa ? That should fix everything . Just think of how much of a disaster things would be if PG didn’t have those two strong voices in parliament . Tracy would likely be in cabinet by now . What a shame .

Maybe it’s time for another job fair to get your hopes up. Election is coming. Let’s see what can we spin this time?
