Trailer Park Fire on Lansdowne Road

Prince George, B.C. – A trailer park fire caused extensive damage to a mobile home last night.
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the blaze at around 7:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Lansdowne Road.
They arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the home though Assistant Fire Chief Greg Wilkins says they were able to knock the flames down quickly.
He says the lone occupant of the home, a woman, was waiting outside when crews arrived. She was later transported to hospital for observation and minor burns to her hands.
Wilkins estimates the damages at $40,000 . He says the cause is under investigation but notes preliminary indications suggest it was accidental.

Happy to hear she got out and only had minor burns. On a not so serious note…I may need to start a fire so Mr Big and Tall in that photo can come put it out. ;)

A calendar…Nice! Looks like someone doesn’t agree since we both got down votes. lol
Years ago, most small garages and many men had a “pin-up” calendar in our shops or garages. Some where given out when you picked up your vehicle after repairs were done. Some were even produced by tool manufactures like Snap-On!
These have all pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur, driven into extinction by those that felt that such calendars sexualized women, portraying them as mindless bimbos and sex objects! Men were vilified for having one hanging in their garage, even if it was their wife who bought it for them!
Now, we have Fire Fighter calendars containing month after month of shirtless men! These calendars, clearly aimed at the female demographic are gleefully anticipated and there never seems to be a problem selling out of any newly released issue!
Perhaps the thumbs down came from guys who have been shamed into giving up their pinup calendars by the very gender that gleefully lines up the buy the latest “firefighter” calendar? So much for equality!
From my point of views, Ladies, go out a buy the issue! I couldn’t care less, but I do kinda miss a pinup calendar in my garage, haha! ;-)
Early damage estimates are in the hundreds of dollars….
Hilarious, and very considerate of the presumed low income woman that had her house half burn down. You know what would be even more hilarious? If she couldn’t afford insurance.
