Celebrate Parks Day

Prince George, B.C. – If you’re looking for something to do today why not visit a provincial park?
It’s Parks Day in Canada and parks in this region are hosting a number of family-friendly events to help celebrate.
Activities include sandcastle building, scavenger hunts, horseshoe throwing events, games, nature bingo, nature walks and interpretive walks.
Participating parks include Beaumont, Carp Lake, Crooked River/Bear Lake, Mount Robson, Paarens Beach, Purden Lake and Whiskers Point Provincial Park.
There are no additional fees attached to these events though it is weather dependent.
