Unexpected Power Outage in Heritage Area

Prince George, B.C.- About 31 homes are without power this hour  in the Heritage area of Prince George.

BC Hydro crews are on scene.

The power was cut  just before noon today when a vehicle struck a low profile transformer.

BC Hydro says it expects to have power restored by 2:30 this afternoon.

That wasn’t too bad. Just got power back. 3-1/2 hrs total. Good work BC Hydro.
