Prince George, B.C. – Kids of all ages have descended on Canada Games Plaza this afternoon for the fourth annual Touch a Truck event.

It’s once again been organized by the Prince George Public Library and includes vehicles from Bandstra Transportation, BC Ambulance, the City of Prince George, and the Prince George Cougars.

“It’s all about creating access for people and not everyone has an opportunity to check out a fire truck or an ambulance, right?” says Amy Dhanjal, communications coordinator at the library.

“And it’s really awesome to be able to connect library patrons with all these service providers in the community.”

The event runs until 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.
