RCMP  were notified on Monday of  theft and mischief to the digital roadside sign board that was located on Highway 16 at Norman Lake Road, west of Prince George.

The board was damaged and the batteries, solar panel and trailer licence plate (8761C) were stolen.

The damage and theft is estimated to be $20,000 and occurred sometime between the evening of Friday August 19th and the morning of Saturday August 20th.

If you have any information about this investigation or who is responsible, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477

I understand why someone might steal the batteries and solar panel, but what good does the license plate do anyone, and why damage the sign?

Ataloss did you get a new solar panel over the weekend? Lol

    Thumbs up!

    Double “thumbs up”, haha!
