Prince George, B.C. – Highway 97, four kilometres south of McLeod Lake, is closed to all traffic following a serious motor vehicle accident this afternoon.

There are few details available other than the fact that emergency personnel are on scene conducting an assessment of the situation.  There is also initial information that there are serious injuries involved in this collision however the number of occupants and type of vehicles involved is not available.

The highway is closed in both directions.  There is no detour available and a further update is not expected before 4:30 pm.
