Prince George, B.C. – It was a great weekend for Elijah Adekugbe that turned out not to be so great for the UNBC Timberwolves.

The Trinity Western midfielder scored both goals Saturday night to lead the Spartans to a 2-0 victory over the Timberwolves and a sweep of their Canada West men’s soccer doubleheader at the North Cariboo Senior Soccer League fields.  Adekugbe also scored a goal in TWU’s 2-1 win Friday night.

So the Spartans begin the 2016 season at 2 and 0 while UNBC is 0 and 2.  The Timberwolves head to UBC next weekend for Saturday and Sunday matches against the Thunderbirds.
