Prince George, B.C. – Those with a penchant for potato’s should head out to Huble Homestead this weekend.

The historic site, located about a 40-minute drive north of Prince George, is hosting its third annual Potato Festival tomorrow and Monday.

The event is a celebration of the spud and will included tater themed races and relays along with crafts, games and a spud inspired menu.

Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. both days. The festival also marks the end of Huble Homestead’s summer hours.

The heritage site will end the season with their old-fashioned Thanksgiving celebration October 10th.
