Prince George, B.C.- With the help of members of the UNBC Timberwolves teams, and the Prince George Spruce Kings, students at UNBC who will be staying on campus this semester, are moving into the UNBC residences.
The residences are at capacity this year, which is good news says UNBC President Daniel Weeks, as the university doesn’t receive any funding to operate those facilities.
Greg Daniels is one of the students moving in today. From Canim Lake, he is attending UNBC to take a forestry program “I am excited to meet new people, have new experiences.”
The University residences have capacity for just under 540 students.

The day provided students with a free lunch, and this evening there is a special residence Community Dinner.
“This is a great day for a move in” says UNBC President Daniel Weeks, “The weather is certainly cooperating”. With the sun shining and moderate temperatures it’s a big improvement over some past Move In days when it’s been either extremely hot, or cold with rain.
