SUV Collides With Moose

Prince George, B.C. – The driver of an SUV was lucky to escape injury after hitting a moose on Highway 97 North this afternoon.
It happened at around 2:30 p.m. at Bellamy Road.
Unfortunately the moose had to be put down. The collision briefly slowed traffic as first responders attended the scene.

How do you not see a moose at 230 in the afternoon, that could of been a kid.
kids don’t come out of the ditch a 30 kmh.
Like the majority of the people in the hart, they fly down that road like they’re the only driver
Like the majority of drivers in this city / province / country they have no clue how to drive defensively. Eyes fixed straight ahead oblivious to everything around them.
Look at the posted picture, there’s no where for that moose to sneak out onto the highway unseen.
