Cougars Trim Roster
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars have announced further roster changes as they prepare for the new Western Hockey League season.
The Cougars have reassigned five players to their respective Midget Teams:
Goaltender (1):
Taylor Gauthier (01) – Calgary Buffaloes (AMHL)
Defencemen (2):
Cole Beamin (01) – Saskatoon Contacts (SMAAAHL)
Jack Michell (01) – Saskatoon Contacts (SMAAAHL)
Forwards (2):
Keegan Craik (01) – Yale Academy U-18 (CSSSHL)
Tyler Ho (00) – Valley West Hawks (BCMML)
The Cougars are now left with 31 players on their pre-season roster ahead of Friday’s preseason finale against the Kamloops Blazers at home. However, eight of those 31 players will be attending NHL Training Camps which start this week.

The Prince George Cougars’ lone preseason home game is next Friday night at the CN Centre against the Kamloops Blazers. The puck drops at 7:00 PM.
The Cougars kick off their regular season with four straight games on the road starting Friday, September 23 in Victoria against the Royals.
