Police Investigate Incident at CN Rail Tracks

Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George RCMP is investigating an incident that took place last night at the CN Rail Yard off of First Avenue.

A witness tells 250News it appears an individual was struck by a train near the Via Station at around 9:00 p.m.

First responders, including RCMP, Prince George Fire Rescue, and the BC Ambulance Service all attended the scene.

RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says police will release information regarding the incident later today.

Getting “struck by a train” doesn’t usually work out for the best. Hopefully they’re okay.

crazy, i was coming out of a mixed martial arts class lastnight around 840 and heard the loud train horn go off and continue to go off until it stopped…wondered what had happened, the horn must have been going for a good 15-20 seconds until train stopped
