Police Seek Suspect in Violent Attack

Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a man they believe responsible for a violent attack earlier this month.
Corporal Craig Douglass says a man was stabbed on Thursday, September 1, 2016 just before 7:00 p.m. at the corner of Victoria Street and 9th Avenue.
The male victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries but is expected to survive.
Douglass says a Criminal Code charge of aggravated assault has been approved by Provincial Crown Counsel and a warrant has been issued for 32-year-old Kyle Anthony Garnot of Prince George.
Garnot is described as:
- A First Nations male
- 191 cm (6’3”)
- 136 kg (300 lbs)
- Brown eyes
- Black hair
Anyone with information about Garnot’s whereabouts is asked to call police.
