Talktober Details Released
Prince George, B.C. – The City of Prince George has announced the details of a series of community conversations its scheduled for next month.
The City says the ‘Talktober’ sessions will allow it the chance to “reconnect with partners and citizens.” As at last year’s initial ‘Talktober’ meetings, City staff will be on hand with displays on a variety of topics including the park strategy, community association review, transit operations and bike lanes, capital project priorities, and storm water infrastructure.
Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall will also host a question and answer session with attendees. Information collected at the meetings will inform the City’s upcoming budget deliberations, priorities, and operations.
The ‘Talktober’ sessions will take place in the following communities:
Wednesday, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Columbus Community Centre in College Heights
Tuesday, Oct. 18, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Hart Community Centre
Thursday, Oct. 20, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Blackburn Community Hall
Monday, Oct. 24, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wood Innovation and Design Centre
Wednesday, Oct.26, 6:30 pm. to 8:30 p.m., College of New Caledonia atrium
