Prince George, B.C. – A 24-year-old man has been sent to hospital after being struck by a vehicle this morning.

It happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. near 5th Avenue and Voyageur Drive. Collision investigators, including a collision analyst, are investigating the cause of the accident.

Mounties say traffic in the area may be disrupted while investigators comb the area. A police officer on scene told 250News the victim has suffered serious injuries.

Witnesses are asked to call police.
