Prepping for Run for The Cure
Prince George, B.C.- This Sunday, 250 participants will be taking part in the annual “Run for the Cure”, the annual 1km or 5km run to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Run for the Cure is now 25 years old and this year, CIBC celebrates its 20th anniversary as a sponsor of the event. New this year, is a partnership with Willow, which offers support to those on the breast cancer journey.
Pre registration for the run is taking place this afternoon from 4 to 7 at the CIBC branch at Pine Centre mall, but participants can also register Sunday morning at the race which will start from City Hall.
The event schedule calls for registration at 8:30 AM followed by the Opening Ceremonies at 9:30. The run gets underway at 10, with awards and closing ceremonies at 10:50.
