Prince George, B.C. – The UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball squads are gearing up for next month’s start of the 2016-17 season with exhibition games this weekend against the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves.

Action at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre today has the women playing at 2 pm, the men taking the court at 4pm.

The Timberwolves open their regular seasons on the road against the University of Winnipeg Wesmen on November 4th. Their home openers go Friday, November 11th against the University of Alberta Pandas and Golden Bears, with the women’s game at 6pm, men at 8 pm.
