Prince George, B.C. – A successful end in the search for a missing hiker.

The Prince George RCMP say 57-year-old Victor Gustafson has been located and is safe.

Mounties and Prince George Search and Rescue activated a search late last night after Gustafson failed to return from a hiking trip east of the city.

Corporal Craig Douglass says he was found about an hour ago in his car noting “medically he’s fine.”
