Nolan Volcan and Sami Moilanen scored for Seattle. The teams had 25 shots a piece with Ty Edmonds picking up the victory.

With the win, the Cougars improved their record to 9-2, good for first place in the Western Conference.

The T-birds dropped to 2-3-0-1 with the loss. The Cougars conclude their two-game road trip tomorrow night in Tri-City against the Americans.

The real test for the Cougars come in the next 3 games. All their wins are against sub500 teams so far. Go Cougars
