Sunday, October 23, 2016 @ 9:31 AM

Prince George, B.C. – The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer season ended in Abbotsford this weekend with a draw and a loss against the University of the Fraser Valley.

The home side got goals from Justin Sekhorn and Jassi Mann on their way to a 2-0 shutout of the T-Wolves Saturday in the regular season finale for both teams.
On Friday night James Najman scored for the Cascades while UNBC’s Cheona Edzerza replied to produce all of the scoring in a 1-1 draw. That single point clinched a playoff berth for UFV. The Timberwolves finished the season with a 4-10-2 record and were eliminated from the playoffs.

The Timberwolves women’s side fell 1-0 to MacEwan on Saturday and 3-0 to Mt. Royal on Sunday.  They finish the season with a record of 0-12-1.
