Mayor Hall Raising “stache” “cash”
Prince George, B.C.- November will prove to be a hair raising experience for Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall, and that’s exactly what he’s counting on.

Hall has entered into a “Mo-vember” challenge to not only grow a moustache this month as a fundraiser for men’s health initiatives, but to beat Kamloops Mayor Peter Milobar when it comes to raising the most cash .
So, you could say the two men are in a “face off”.
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide, and rates of testicular cancer diagnosis have doubled over the past 50 years.
Research shows one in every four adults is not active enough, which contributes to poor health – but moving on a regular basis can reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer by up to 50%.
Movember aims to bring awareness to these issues and challenges everyone to raise funds by growing a moustache or making a commitment to get active.
” If by accepting this challenge, I can increase awareness and understanding of these issues, then bring it on” says Mayor Hall. The Mayor is “bristling” with confidence that he can “mo”-tivate the residents of Prince George to contribute some cash for his “stache” . He wants to be sure Prince George wins the challenge by more than a whisker because no one wants this to be a win by a close shave.
