Three Face Charges in Drug Bust
Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Prince George say three people are now facing drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant at a business on Third Avenue on Friday.
Acting on a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, police closed a portion of Third Avenue in the interest of public safety and swooped down on a business in the 1100 block of that street late Friday afternoon. They arrested three people and seized drugs which included methamphetamine, marihuana, morphine, MDA and a variety of unidentified pills. As well, property confirmed to have been stolen in a break and enter was seized.
Three people were taken into custody and later released on Promise to Appear documents to face charges at a later date.
The RCMP says the search warrant was issued after information was provided to them by concerned citizens and business owners who want to rid the area of a continuing drug problem.
