Prince George, B.C. – It’s that time of the year.  This Sunday,  the annual  event at the Civic Centre Plaza ( now the Canada Games Plaza)  will take place.

Set to start at 4 pm and run until 6,  the event is free and features all sorts of activities.

Mini lanterns can be created at the Two Rivers Art Gallery,   or you  take a swim at the Four Seasons  pool for a toonie, or maybe  take in a story  at the PG Library.  The holiday  hay ride will be  making a circuit as well.

There will be skating,  live  music and dance,   plus  plenty of hot cocoa and some holiday treats.    The  event wouldn’t be complete with a visit from  Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The actual  light up of the tree will take place at 5 p.m.
