Quesnel, B.C. – Two  Quesnel residents are in  custody following a  search warrant executed on  Veneer Road.Late yesterday and early last evening,  the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit along with the North District Emergency Response Team executed a high risk search warrant on the residence.

During the course of the search,  some  neighbouring residences were evacuated as a precautionary measure and  access to Veneer Road and Plywood Road was restricted.

The investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 22 year old female and a 37 year old  male, both of Quesnel.

Quesnel RCMP  are recommending   to Crown Counsel that the  pair  be charged with robbery and  firearms offences.
