Air Quality Advisory for Prince George

Prince George, B.C. – An Air Quality Advisory has been issued for Prince George because of high levels of fine particulate .
At 10 this morning, the 24 hour rolling average of levels of PM 2.5 was sitting at 25.3 µg/m3. The provincial target is 25 µg/m3.
The advisory means the City will be enacting its Free Fare for Clean Air policy, providing free transit tomorrow until the end of the day when the advisory is cancelled.
The Advisory for Prince George adds this City to the string of Highway 16 corridor communities under similar advisory as Houston, Vanderhoof and Valemount are also under Air Quality Advisories

Must be all that road dust and the abundance of wood burning appliances creating the AQ advisory. Never could be caused by industrial emissions.
