New Partnership to Benefit Travellers at YXS
Prince George, B.C. –Travellers waiting for their next flight at YXS now have more options to pass the time.
YXS has partnered with the Prince George Public Library to allow passengers to register for a library card online and access the library’s digital collection of eBooks, streaming music, magazines and newspapers.
Online library registration allows users to have immediate access to all the library’s online data bases such as OverDrive Libraries, PressReader and Zinio.
The airport’s free Wi-Fi service means travellers can also download eBooks and other material to their device to read offline during their flight.
“When the Library first approached us with this idea we were thrilled as it gives travellers who are looking for reading material thousands of options right at their fingertips,” says PGAA marketing manager Lindsay Cotter.
“This is another step in the right direction when it comes to partnering with great community groups and enhancing the customer experience at YXS.”
