Prince George, B.C. – Tim Bennett has replaced Tony Cable as chair of the Prince George School Board.
This after he was acclaimed at tonight’s inaugural school board meeting. Cable decided against running for a third one year term so he could spend more time with his family (see previous story here).
Trustee Tim Bennett
Bennett is no stranger to the board’s executive having spent the past 14 plus months as vice-chair. Also elected tonight was Trish Bella as vice-chair. Bella replaces Tim Bennett after she defeated Bruce Wiebe in a secret ballot.
Sharel Warrington was acclaimed and is back as BC School Trustee Association provincial councillor. She also takes over the BC Public School Employer’s Association representative role from Bruce Wiebe.
