Prince George, B.C. – Food donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society are being accepted this weekend, to go to those in need in our community.
B.C. Ambulance staff members will be out today and tomorrow taking part in their 10th annual food drive. They’ll be collecting non-perishable food items outside the Save-On-Foods store at the Hart shopping centre from 11 am to 5 pm today and will be at the College Heights Save-On-Foods store from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
The donated food items will go into the Christmas hampers put together by St. Vincent de Paul, and will also be used in the provision of meals at the society’s Drop-in Centre on Second Avenue. All donations go to those in need.
