Prince George, B.C. – One person is in custody following a stabbing in Prince George.

Mounties, say it happened just after 10 p.m. last night on Sparrow Road in the Hart.

While on route to the scene, Cpl. Craig Douglass says police located a suspect vehicle turning onto Otway Road.

The driver was apprehended a short time later after the vehicle lost control and slid into a snowbank.

The suspect was held in custody and is expected to appear in court later today. Multiple charges are anticipated.

The 21-year-old male victim was taken to hospital for treatment for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Douglass says the suspect and the victim are known to each other. No names have been released.
