Favourite Names For Babies in B.C.

Prince George, B.C.-  According to  B.C. Vital Statistics,   as of December 12th this year,  Lucas is the top  name for  boys born this year,  while Olivia is the  favourite name for a girl.

Of course the  stats  for  2016 are not yet complete  so B.C. Vital Statistics points out  that in all of 2015,   Emma was the favoured name for a baby  girl,  while Oliver was the favoured  name for a boy.
Rounding out the top five names for girls born in the province in 2015 were Emily, Sophia and Ava.

For baby boys born in 2015, the remaining top five names include Ethan, Liam, Benjamin and Lucas.

There were 44,405 babies born in B.C. in 2015, consisting of 22,819 boys and 21,586 girls.


Won’t be long till it’s Mohammad, Achmed, Osama and Ishamel , just elect JT one more time!
