Prince George, B.C. – Poor driving conditions hasn’t deterred around 15 dog handlers and their pets from participating in today’s Dog Agility trials at the Agriplex.

“This is our winter breakup trial,” says vice-president Marc Bernat. “Or as I call it wish it was summer trial and not snowing.”

He says about 25 dogs, ranging from Poodles and Labs to Border Collies and everything in between, are participating in the trials which wrap up at 5 this afternoon.

Bernat says they are accepting donations to the Prince George Humane Society in honour of Norma Allison.

“Norma spent her very last day with us on Nov.7, 2016 at our November trial and unfortunately later that evening she passed away,” he says. “She was a great advocate for the Humane Society and a great, nice lady.”
