Major Power Outage in Vanderhoof

Vanderhoof, B.C. – Vanderhoof residents are in the dark this morning after a motor vehicle accident knocked out the power early this morning.
Just over 4,600 BC Hydro customers have been affected in town and in its surrounding areas including west to Fort Fraser, east to Cluculz Lake and north to Stuart River.
Crews are currently working on the outage and the utility expects power to be restored by noon today.
