Missing Persons Case May be Homicide
Prince George, B.C.- It has been more than two months since Prince George RCMP were asked to locate a 51 year old Prince George man, and now police believe he may have fallen victim to foul play.
51 year old Maxwell Harvey Mayling has not been since October, and Prince George RCMP were contacted November 6th and asked to locate him.
The Detachment’s Serious Crime Section has been leading the investigation and are treating his disappearance as a possible homicide.
Maxwell is known to police and is believed to be associated to the drug trade.
He was living in the Fort St. John area up until the spring of 2016 when he moved to Prince George. Since 2007, he has had police contact in Prince George, Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd and Fort Nelson, BC.
Mayling is described as:
- First Nations male
- 175 cm (5’9)
- 82 kg (180 lbs)
- Brown eyes
- Salt & pepper hair
- Wears glasses
Police have located and seized MAYLING’s red 1995 4-door Ford Taurus in downtown Prince George.
