Prince George, B.C. – Emergency crews from Prince George Fire Rescue and Fortis BC are on scene in downtown Prince George this evening, trying to pin point the source of what is believed to be a gas leak.
Vancouver Street is blocked off to all traffic between 10th and 11th Avenues as crews look for the source of the odour.
The janitor working in the WorkSafe BC building was ordered to leave the premises, and one Greyhound bus arriving at the bus station in that area, was not allowed access to the bus bay.
Crews have been on scene since shortly after 6 this evening.
Further details will be released as they become available.
