Prince George, B.C. – Monday is Family Day across B.C. and the folks at the Prince George Outdoor Ice Oval are inviting everyone out for a skate and a great time.

It’s a free public skate running from 1 pm to 3 pm Monday.  Everyone is welcome and there will be free hot chocolate, goody bags for the youngsters, lots of music to skate to and mascots on hand to entertain.  Skate rentals will be available.

Now the people who run and maintain the oval say that with warmer temperatures arriving and a good chance we’ll see a thaw quite soon, this Free Skate may be the last skating at the oval for the season.  So, if you’re interested, it’s likely a good idea to take advantage of this opportunity.
