Quesnel, B.C. – Two people are in police custody following a foot chase in Quesnel.

Sgt. Chris Riddle says it all started early this morning when a pickup truck was stolen from a business on Two Mile Flat.

He says just after 11 a.m. the same pickup was spotted being driven erratically from Bouchie Lake towards Quesnel.

Riddle says Mounties located the vehicle which turned off into a trailer court on North Fraser Drive. He says the driver and passenger abandoned the truck and fled on foot but were captured without incident a short time later.

Riddle says the man and woman are still in custody pending an investigation.
