Prince George, B.C. – A theatre production aimed at raising funds to help battle cancer opens this weekend.

The Last Romance – a Miracle Theatre production produced, directed and designed by local theatre professionals Anne Laughlin and Ted Price – opened last night at ArtSpace above Books and Company and will run until March 5.

All proceeds from the production, a comedy, will help purchase medical equipment for Prince George’s new Breast Cancer Clinic opening this fall.

Last year’s Miracle Theatre production raised over $42,000 for the children’s programs at the Salvation Army and 27 Million Voices.

Laughlin and Price are hoping to raise $50,000 this time around. Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased at Books and Company or by phone at 250-563-6937.
