Woodstove Exchange Program Returns

Prince George, B.C. – Those looking to upgrade their older, smoky wood burning appliances are in luck.
The Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable’s Woodstove Exchange Program is back for another year.
The initiative invites eligible residents of Prince George and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George to trade in their old woodstoves for a new emissions certified wood burning, natural gas, or pellet appliances and receive a $500 rebate.
Program participants who require a Heating Unit Permit through the regional government office are eligible to receive an additional $130 towards their permit fee.
