Cougars Set to Host Oil Kings
Tonight the Prince George Cougars continue their three game home stand when they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings to town. This will mark the third of four meetings on the season between the two clubs and the Cougars are 2-0 against Edmonton up to this point. A victory tonight guarantees that the Cougars will remain in first place in the B.C. Division. Heading into the weekend the Cougars are one point up on Kamloops and six up on the Kelowna Rockets.

WHO’S UP FRONT:
Davis Koch: The talented forward has points in five of his last six games. During that span he’s scored four goals and added two assists.
Trey Fix-Wolansky: The leading goal scorer for the Edmonton Oil Kings also has points in five of his last six games. During that span he’s got six goals and one assist. He posted a hat-trick Saturday against Medicine Hat.
WHO’S ON D:
Will Warm: The draft eligible defenceman leads all Edmonton defenders with nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points. He’s got a goal and an assist in two games this season against Prince George.
WHO’S IN GOAL:
Patrick Dea?: The veteran has seen the most work of the three goalies currently on the Oil Kings roster. In 50 appearances he’s compiled a record of 18-28-2-1. His two younger backups are Josh Dechaine and Liam Hughes.
X-FACTOR:
Bounce Back: The Oil Kings have had two tough outings so far on their jaunt through the B.C. Division. They fell 6-1 in Kamloops on Tuesday and 10-1 Wednesday in Kelowna. You can bet there will be some snarl in their game tonight in Prince George.

WHO’S UP FRONT:
Radovan Bondra: The towering Slovak scored the first Cougar goal on Tuesday against Red Deer and comes into the weekend leading the team in goals with 28 (nine of which have come as a member of the Cougars). In three games this season against Edmonton he has three goals and two assists.
Jansen Harkins: Despite leaving Tuesday’s game early in the first with an upper body injury, Jansen Harkins is good to go tonight. He comes into the game with 60 points which is second on the team. His return to the lineup will be a big boost tonight for Prince George.
WHO’S ON D:
Tate Olson: The Canucks prospect had a goal an assist in two games in January against Edmonton. His 23 points puts him second on the team in scoring among defencemen.
WHO’S IN GOAL:
Ty Edmonds: The 20-year-old will get the nod tonight for the Cougars. His record for the season is 26-14-2-2 with a 2.51 goals-against-average and a .915 save percentage. Ty’s had two strong starts in a row and will look to build on that fact when he takes the crease tonight.
X-FACTOR:
A good honest effort: Don’t take Edmonton lightly. Finish checks. Have fun playing the game and the results should take care of themselves.
