Prince George, B.C. – From tennis and martial arts to BMX racing and the arts – the Active Living Market is in full swing at Pine Centre Mall.

Hosted by the City of Prince George – close to 30 different clubs and organizations are on hand promoting their sports, activities and programs.

“So, it’s a great place to just learn about what’s out there and what’s available,” says Marta Gregor, community coordinator with the City’s Community Services Department. “Or, if you’re interested in signing yourself or your kids up, this is a great place to shop around and see what’s out there and available.”

The two-day event coincides with the release of the City’s Spring & Summer Active Living Guide with a goal to promoting active living.

“For sure, and it’s for all ages levels and abilities,” adds Gregor. “Some might be more specific for kids, for seniors, but all in all it’s a variety which is great.”

“Feel free to stop by the City of Prince George booth at Centre Court. We have copies of the brand-new guide along with the new bikeways map which shares all the different bike connections and routes through the city.”
