Prince George, B.C. – Around 30 employers will be on hand for a jobs fair at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre today.
The first annual event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include door prizes and a free lunch.
A wide range of employers will be on hand including Canfor, Papason Trucking, Northern Health, CNC and the Lheidli T’enneh.
“We are excited to see the caliber of companies who will be at our Fair from many of the business sectors,” said the PGNFC in a statement. “This is a wonderful opportunity for our qualified clients to access these companies who are presently hiring for multiple positions.”
The PGNFC is located at 1600 Third Avenue.

Just curious….is this job fair open to everyone or just natives?
Always everyone
Ok whos hiring and what are these multiple positions? I am sure we do not need a job fair to find people who are looking for employment. IMO this is nothing but another attempt to make it look like we need many people to fill positions that do not exist before an election. Remember the LNG job fairs that did nothing to help people find employment. I guess you can call it- the province is trying to paint a rosy picture before the election.
What is the connection between the provincial Liberals and the Friendship Centre? Seems kind of far-fetched.
Canfor has production employee call list positions, the rest are managers and trades. Papason looking for drivers. Not really much happening with the rest. Google it and see for yourself.
