Sunday, March 26, 2017 @ 6:50 AM

Valemount, B.C. – The Valemount Airport be getting $27,000 in funding from the B.C. Air Access Program for airport infrastructure safety improvements.

The money from the Transportation and Infrastructure Ministry will be used for tree removal, and runway and taxiway line painting to improve visibility and increase safety for aircraft take-off and landing, particularly for emergency medevac services.

Through the B.C. Air Access Program, the ministry cost shares with public airports on projects such as lighting and navigational systems, terminal building expansion or upgrades, and runway improvements.   The program also promotes funding partnerships with the federal government, local and regional governments and agencies, and the private sector.

They might need more than line painting.

So you whine and cry if they are there, whine and cry if they are not there, one would get the impression that you just like to bitch and moan about everything.

As sparrow swoops in on yet another of my comments, shrieks like a seagull, and then flies off.

no copy and paste? Is that your original thought or did somebody direct you to post it?
