Prince George, B.C. – North District RCMP advise that Highway 97 is now fully open to traffic in the Kersley area.

The highway had been completely closed with no detour available for more than 10 hours at an accident scene 3 kilometres south of Kersley.  Cpl Madonna Saunderson tells 250 News that there is no further information available regarding the accident at this time.

The collision, involving a bus, car, pick-up truck and a tractor pulling farm equipment, left one person dead and several others injured.
