Prince George, B.C. – Mounties are seeking the public’s help in locating an individual involved in an armed robbery.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says it happened at a retail business on Third Avenue downtown at 3:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

“Officers immediately attended the area. Investigators believe a lone suspect entered the business, produce what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash from the register,” he says.

“Employees cooperated and the suspect fled westbound on a bicycle with a small amount of cash. All attempts to locate the suspect were negative.”

Douglass describes the suspect as follows:

  • A non-white male
  • Wearing a grey hoody, black pants, gloves and a balaclava mask
  • Riding a purple 10-speed bike
