Prince George, B.C. – The Hart Community Association has launched a “Go Fund Me” campaign to raise dollars to beautify the northern area of the City of Prince George.
Specifically, the Association is looking for donations to help buy hanging baskets and planters for the Hart area, and to fund maintenance of the Hart Highlands welcome garden at the corner of Foothills Boulevard and Highland Drive.
The goal is to raise $5 thousand dollars and the fundraising drive kicked off with a $700 Community Enhancement grant from the City, but there is more needed.
All of the hanging baskets flower planters and the welcome garden are sponsored by Hart area businesses, organizations, individuals and the community enhancement grant.
The Hart Community Association also has a spring clean up crew that picks up litter in the area, and is involved in planting legacy trees in the park and business areas.

Are those NDPPlants?
The City can fork over a couple of hundred thousand for bike lanes that disappeared in a couple of months but they can only find 500 bucks to beautify a neighbourhood?
