Crime Stoppers Wins Three Awards at Provincial Gala

Prince George, B.C. – A stellar weekend for the Prince George Crime Stoppers Society.

The local non-profit snagged a trio of awards at the Provincial Awards gala in Kelowna.

The organization won a milestone award for property recovered in 2016 for a city with a population of between 50,000 to 100,000.

The Scotia Bank branches in Prince George were also recognized for their long-time support of the program.

In fact, over the past year alone, through their matching grant program, Scotia Bank PG has helped Prince George Crime Stoppers raise almost $10,000.

And finally, lone-time executive member Robin Craig was awarded with a special “Civilian of the Year’ award for over 10 years of service to Crime Stoppers in Prince George.

Crime Stoppers partners with local media, police and residents to help solve and prevent crime from occurring.
