Busy Day for Police in Quesnel
Quesnel, B.C. – Mounties in Quesnel capped the long weekend with two large scale investigations.
Sgt. Chris Riddle says it started yesterday at around 3 p.m., when police were called to a home on Flamingo Street for a complaint of an assault with a weapon.
He says police surrounded the home and eventually arrested three persons inside.
“Two search warrants were executed at the residence and amongst other evidence, multiple firearms were located and seized. This investigation is still in the early stages and is ongoing.”
Then at 3 a.m. this morning, Riddle says police saw a suspicious vehicle on Newman Road being driven by a prolific offender.
“The driver, as well as his three passengers, were all arrested for being in possession of property obtained by crime and other offences. The investigation into this matter is also ongoing.”
No names have been released.
