Plan For Pidherny
Prince George, B.C. – The Pidherny Recreation Site has become a popular destination not only for local mountain bike enthusiasts, but a sought out trail for visitors.
This evening, reps from the Mountain Biking Association and the Pidherny Rec Site, will be calling on Prince George City Council to the development of a new trail at the site.
The trail would be 1.8 kms and would have two view points. The new trail could be a tourism boost for Prince George say presenters.
The plan is to start construction June 1st and have the work completed in October of this year.
Also on the agenda for Council’s consideration this evening, setting the wheels in motion for the alternate approval process for four projects.
The loans would be for the following:
Mobile equipment $4.223 million
Integrating Parks Division with the Public Works Department $1.45 million
Nechako Riverside Park $630 thousand
Hart Industrial Storm Drainage $1.47 million
