Prince George, B.C. – RCMP in Chetwynd are investigating an overnight collision which has closed Highway 29 to all traffic this morning.

The highway is closed in both directions 8 kilometres south of the junction with Highway 97 North in Chetwynd.  There is no passage through the accident site but traffic is moving on an alternate route via Highways 97 and 52.

There are no details regarding the collision at this time.

Highway 29 is expected to re-open between 9 and 10 this morning.
